  Drove by this place a million times but just ate here for the first time.
  I like these little places.
  Food was good and they have outdoor seating for when the weather is nice

  This place really went downhill. I lived in Crystal for years and just stopped in to visit. 10 minutes to get 2 cokes (there were 4 tables total). The waitress was visiting instead of helping us. Never got a drink refill. Specifically said how thirsty I was and asked for a refill 4 times. At this point, only 2 tables in restaurant. Food was cold. This was the "gravy" that tasted like nothing and was chunky.

  The ambiance of the place is typical of most hometown restaurants.  The salad bar was ok, nothing to really get excited about.  The price for the meal that included the salad bar was more than reasonable.  The country fried steak was very greasy and not that appetizing.  The green beans and the baked potato were good.
  
  If you are in the area, you may want to try a different place.  Perhaps something else on the menu would have been a better choice.  Maybe another Yelper can give this place a try and see if there is something more here to get excited about.
  
  On a different note, the town has some potential charm.  I am sure there is more to see but with the hour now, it is too dark to see.

  Good but not great food, service is usually pretty decent.  My only complaint is they usually run out of items.  Overall not bad for a small town place!

  The new name of this resturant is called The Crystal Cafe. Very good food and service. Very friendly.
